How to reach Budapest

Airport
Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport is located 16 km southeast of the city. It serves as a hub for Ryanair and Wizzair, with connections to the Middle East, North America, and Africa. The airport has two terminals:

  • Terminal 2A for Schengen flights
  • Terminal 2B for non-Schengen flights

Both terminals are within the same building, and the average transfer time to the city center is 30-40 minutes.

Transport Options from the Airport

  • Bus: Take bus â„–200E to the city in 30 minutes. Bus â„–900 runs at night.
  • Train: Regular trains operate near Terminal 1, with a 30-minute trip to the city.
  • Taxi: Taxis are available with a 35-minute ride to the city center.
