GENERAL RULES TO SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT
- Authors presenting abstracts must be registered participants. Posters will not be displayed from unregistered authors. The corresponding author should be identified.
- Abstracts, must be written in English.
- Abstracts may only be submitted exclusively online via the congress website.
- Abstracts must be submitted on or before the closing date, 31 May 2021.
- The organizers reserve the right to reject any abstracts for failure to comply with submission instructions mentioned on the congress website. Please note that late submissions will not be considered.
- It is possible to submit more than one abstract. However, only one presenting author per abstract is permitted.
- Please ensure that your abstract does not contain spelling, grammatical or scientific errors. It is the author’s responsibility to submit a correct abstract. Changes to abstracts can only be accepted up until the deadline using your Personal Page. Any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific fact may be reproduced as typed by the author, if accepted. No corrections are possible after the submission deadline. The abstract will be reproduced exactly as submitted. No proofreading will be done.
- The presenting author must accept full responsibility for the content, submission and presentation of the abstract, and retains full copyright of his abstract and presentation. By submitting an abstract, authors give consent and authorize the organizers to publish or submit for publication their abstract, presentation, picture and biography, and to include them in any congress printed or electronic publications.
- Submitters can go back and make changes to an abstract submitted when it is as a draft copy until the deadline. However, please note that finalized abstracts cannot be edited after approving the drafts.
- Notification on acceptance of the abstract(s) will be e-mailed by 4 June 2021 and authors must register for the congress and pay the registration fee. Failure to do this could result in losing your presentation. Early registration fee will be applied to authors with accepted poster.
- Acknowledgement of receipt of the submission will be sent to the stated mail address under section “Personal details”. The corresponding author will receive all correspondence concerning the abstract and is responsible for informing the other authors of the status of the abstract.
- Conflict of Interest/Disclosure: Work submitted for presentation must include an acknowledgement of any commercial funding source. Authors should declare all commercial interests.
- All studies must have been approved by institutional committees on ethics of experimental and human investigations.
- All accepted abstracts will be considered as applicants to the Scientific Research Awards for Oral / Poster Presentations discussed during the Poster Session scheduled on 24 July 2021.
- Abstracts should be written in English and the complete abstract must not exceed the box space (500 words).
- Structured abstracts are mandatory stating clearly the Background/Aims, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
- We recommend submitters to prepare the text in a word processing program (e.g. Microsoft Word) and then copy-paste the final text into the online abstract submission form.
